Dr. Susan Karabin served as President of the American Academy of Periodontology , a national organization whose mission is to provide its members the expertise and resources to enhance the evaluation and diagnosis of oral conditions, assessment of risk for future disease, and delivery of specialty periodontal non-surgical, surgical and medical care for our patients. This is accomplished by promoting advocacy, awareness, collaboration, education, leadership, outreach, and science.
