Patient Care Coordinator
Nilda was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and dreamed of living in a New York City brownstone. As much as she enjoys having time off, she loves her co-workers and appreciates working for Drs. Karabin and Gottesman. She relishes exploring all aspects of the city with her daughter and reading period pieces from the Victorian Era. She aspires to make more time to cook for family and friends from the “beautiful brownstone” where she works.
Karleen is originally from Kingston, Jamaica where she practiced dental hygiene for three years before emigrating to New York in 1978. She joined the practice in May of 1988 under the leadership of Drs. Robert Gottsegen, Paul Tannenbaum and Susan Karabin. With over 35 years of professional experience, Karleen has an excellent touch and is known for her keen diagnostic eye. She is very involved with her church, her high school alumni chapter in New York and her family, including eight grandchildren.
Julie graduated from Hostos Community College Dental Hygiene Program in June 1995 with an internship from NYU. She joined the practice in May 1998 under the leadership of Drs. Robert Gottsegen, Paul Tannenbaum and Susan Karabin. Julie has over twenty years of experience providing precise, attentive and effective dental care. Her hobbies include travel, entertaining and running.
Hailing from Queens, Karen has recently joined our practice and was an instant fit. As a hygienist with nearly 20 years of experience, Karen provides a comforting and professional atmosphere in the dental chair. She loves cooking and dancing but travelling abroad is closest to her heart. She is an avid runner.
Sonia was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York City. A born multi-tasker, she has over twenty years of experience in both surgical assistance and insurance billing. She likes working with her hands, including arts and crafts. Sonia is married with two sons and enjoys family gatherings.
Ania moved to the United States from Poland a few years ago and fell in love with New York life. She loves to spend time with her golden retriever, Cody. Due to her deep love of animals, she does not eat meat. Around the office Ania is known for her quick work, attention to detail and amiable demeanor.
Tara was born and raised in Brooklyn. She has been working as a dental assistant for over 10 years and appreciates hands-on work. Her tremendous work ethic and caring attitude are greatly appreciated by staff and patient alike. Singing, dancing and spending time with her daughter Desiree are her favorite pastimes.
Jackie was born and raised in the Bronx. She loves nature, museums and living in the moment. Having fifteen years of professional experience, Jackie has an excellent grasp of patient needs and office efficiency. More than anything else she loves spending time with her children, Lydell and Chila, who are studying the culinary and veterinary disciplines, respectively.
