Despite the busy-ness that too often constricts today's health care, Dr. Gottesman has managed to put the "care" back into patient care. He is thorough and gives sound advice based on facts - not fear baiting. Dr. Gottesman's approach is gentle and he personally called me to follow up after my appointment.  That goes far beyond my expectations as usually it's a staff member at other offices I've been to.  The entire staff at Perio NYC is lovely and my hygienist, Julie, is The BEST!  If you are searching for a periodontist in NYC, a Dentist near me, tooth cleaning in NYC, implants in NYC, or any other dental services, THIS is the practice you should choose. I came to appointment with a complex teeth problem and painful quad issue. He carefully reviewed details, patiently discussed options without rushing me. Spent precious time to again review the options on the phone.  Listened and answered my questions.  Proceeded to execute chosen option meticulously.  Results no pain and confidence the recommended option serves me best. He is also a very pleasant individual.  The clinic staff are great. He provided complete type-written decription of the procedure and the logic behind his recommended treatment plan, medications, dietary protocol, post-op do's and don'ts with time frames and what patients should expect in terms of healing and recovery were fully delineated.

Dr. Gottesman made post-procedure follow-up call just as he said he would.

In summary, I could not have received better care.  Please note I have had over 30 years of working in a tertiary medical care and can discern excellent care from adequate care.

Dr. Gottesman provided stellar care and I very highly recommend seeking his expertise and the care he provides.

Connecting Patients with Dentists in New York

I was missing a tooth for over 7 years and 2 main reasons I was delaying with an implant was the fear of pain and the high cost of the procedure. Dr. Gottesman was very patient and professional while answering my questions and assured me that there will no be any pain, and that was absolutely true.

My first visit to Dr. Gottesman’s office could not have been more pleasant. His friendly staff and brownstone setting made me feel more like I was visiting a day spa than a dental office. After spending a few minutes in the wood paneled, warmly appointed waiting room replete with fireplace, I was quickly whisked into a dental chair overlooking a small garden.
